Dear Family,
how are you all doing. im doing great. we had cambios yesterday, that
was fun. the house was crazy just waiting for the call to come and
than it finally did and everyone just like exploded. i was trying to
write names and such down and everyone was like jumping on my
back...it was fun. i am staying, and so are elder pike and betancourt,
but my comp is going. Elder Curapil from argentina is my new comp. he
is actually elder castañeda´s comp from the CCM.
the area is alright, we need a lot of new people and were gonna be
working real hard this week coming up. i get to go to montevideo for
the leaders meeting and i ll get to see a lot of my friends, should be
fun. i dont know if you have heard yet, probably have, but elder
reynolds´ new comp is elder mero. i am kinda jealous cuz i love that
kid. me and him always joke about going to Solis de Mataojo together
and open the area. he is a super fun kid.
Um...its hot. its been getting hotter each day and now its sunny til 8
30 ish which is SUPER awesome. But we are sweating quite a lot now a
days. Sunday was really cool. Andres, the convert, asked for a small
talk to give. he pretty much bore his testimony to all the people and
it was only like 2 minutes long, but it was sick. stuff like of course
were the only true church and we have the handsomest missionaries...or
at least the only ones who carry the spirit. The church down here is
SOO much different from home. after his talk he had like a mini
conversation with one of the people on the stand and shook everyones
hand. than he came down and sat by us and shook my comps hand and gave
me a fist bump...i trained him well.
alright, the pictures are hard to explain. all the missionaries are
just crazy. we found out that elder pikes camara can take lots of
pictures in a row...so it all turned into a mosh pit as tried to get
up in the air. crazy.
the missionaries and me and my comp, Castañeda, the big guy elder pike
and his comp elder betancourt. than the two other latinos are Vera and
madrigal (madrigal is the darker one)
than me and my comp explored the lake that forms every time it
rains..its kinda cool.
the tie is just showing one year in the missino. the dark side is the
showing side and the bright colorful side is the back...just to show
how the tie USED to look.
