What is up? How is everything going back there where the sun still
shines. Everything is good here. It is not as cold as the last weeks,
it is quite nice...when it is not raining. Out of the four shoes i
have, 3 are soaking wet. They dry slowly. And it is quite humid. I
still love to be able to see my breath as we are laying down to go to
bed. It is like camping every day!
So...we were not even aware it was fathers day. Sorry dad. Nobody told
us and here it is a different day. So happy fathers day. It is coming
up on grandpa day here tho. They are quite spoiled here, there is
mothers, fathers, grandparents(both male and female), AND kids day.
All of which includes presents. Also, like a week after christmas, the
kings come by and leave more presents...i am not sure why they would
have not planned that at a different time of the year, but it like a
double christmas.
The week has gone really well. Really fast...as always. We are having
lots of fun and had a pretty successful week. We did have the two
baptisms and everything went well. BUT, monica the golden
investigator(who is now heading thru Alma) was in the hospital and
apparently almost died...so she could not go to church and we arent
sure when she d get baptized. So pray for here.
We had a little BBQ after the baptism over a nice fire. But, we were
hoping more of the like rip roaring fires, but we bought the wrong
wood. We bought the none-burn type. So it made it more difficult.
Later, we found out that it is actually good wood cuz once you finally
get it started after using tons and tons and tons of paper and lots of
blowing and fanning, it burns super slowly so that it wont even be
close to out by 10 30 when you have to go to sleep. Lame wood. But we
cooked hot dogs on a little grill so it was nice.
