Dear Family.

What is up. This Word processor is weird cuz every Word i write says
that it is wrong….lame spanish Microsoft. Also, i am unsure why it
must capitalize the Word Word. But anyways. Super crazy fast week. I
went to the beach this week, that was fun. Lets see here, where  to
start. Wednesday, last district meeting of the change. Nothing
exciting there.

 Thursday we went to la paloma for a bautismal interview. The
hagerhorsts (señor couple….dumb computer will not let me write the
Word senior) fed us some food with the hermanas. It was way good. We
ate salad with ranch and a big ol pot pie. We also had some good cake.
And oh ya….i ate blood sausage. Now i knew it was some gross part of
the animal but i didnt know what. So i told them to just not tell me
til after. They brought it out and it looked just like sausage but was
dark dark brown. It looks, smells, and fells like some weird type of
chocolate cake. It tastes odd but not bad, but the textura was weird.
I was into my second bite when my comp says…well it really aint bad
once you get past the thought of it being ACTUAL BLOOD!!! Wo what! It
is called blood sausage but i didnt know it was made from straight up
blood! After that we did the baptism interview and had some time to
kill. So we went to the Light house that looks over the entire city.
It was pretty sweet.

Friday we went to castillos for another interview. That was pretty
fun. The interview went forever and i was just sitting outside the
room with the hermanas and the presidente (who is from kansas…another
señor missionary). They talked about their area for about 15 minutes
before my head got bored and i pulled out my rubicks cube. The second
i made the first move, all three of their heads snapped over to me.
First question, of course, Can you actually solve that. I really
wanted to answer, no i just carry it around and re mix it up a lot.
But i restrained myself. I then taught them all about baptism. They
were super impressed. Than they asked if i knew any other tricks. Well
yes actually, i do (smiley). I did like 7 card tricks that freaked the
hermanas out. Hermana Anamarada was the funniest. I did the one where
you stare at their eyes and guess their card. She said that was unfair
cuz her eyes gave it away. Ok than, i had her pick a new card and not
show anyone. She put it back and i mixed up the deck and i said, ok,
presidente Taylor, i need you tos tare right here and i will guess her
card by your eyes. She said, but he doesnt know my card. Hehehe
exactly. Needless tos ay, i guessed her card (smiley) super fun day
too.

Than there was yesterday. Got home at 8, the zone and district leaders
rushed around and called everyone really fast for numbers. The thing
is, the first zone to turn in all their numbers gets the changes
first. Than the longer it takes, the longer you have to wait. Well, i
am pretty sure we were first cuz it only took about 10 minutes for the
fax to come back. (it can take 10 to and hour and a half.) Than we got
them. All four of us huddled around the little fax machina as the
paper slowly, ever so slowly, made its way out. And well, like i
already sent, i am being changed. I am going to Minas. It is part of
maldanaldo zone so i can go there on p days. Maldanaldo is the coveted
zone of the misión. It has a ton of cool things. There is a GIANT
horse and artigas general guy. Like 100 feet tall huge. Also, there is
this random place with giant fingers coming out of the sand. Super
weird but super cool.

But ya, fun week. sorry i didnt send many photos. i have about 10 more
but the computer is super slow so i will try to send them next week
from Minas. Love you guys.
