How is everything going on at home? are you guys cold? here it is
pretty bipolar. Like sometimes in the day, i will sweat thru every
inch of my clothing. While on other days, i am freezing from the wind.
Let me think what has happened...
Well not much actually. Still spanish, walking, and attempting to
cook. yes i attempt. actually this morning i learned a cool little
thing. I have this flour mix thing i bought to make bunuelos. really
good little bread things you fry. well, before you fry them, the dough
tastes really good too. so this morning, i jus t wanted a little
snack, but i didnt have milk. so i just put the flour and some water
together and tried that. it was alright but just not the same. so than
i go the genius idea to heat it up in the microwave. (hehehehehehe) i
put it in for a minute and came back to find a very nice looking
muffin top coming over the bowl. hmmmmm, interesting. i added some
sugar and cinnamom and WOW it was nummy. so for all you people at home
who dont know how to cook and dont have the time to bake, use the
microwave (smiley face)
These pictures are all kinda weird. This is proof (mom) that i do
actually eat bananas. They are actually really tasty....no estoy
segurro porque....It feels weird cuz well, i have been having this war
between me and bananas and now i just give in? what gives? But than
there are a couple pictures from my dreams. There was a HUGE storm
that came thru here last week. So i stood out there in it (hehehe).
Actually, about 20 yards down the road the river was much much bigger,
but there was no dry spot to take the picture. Imagine three roads
with all that water converging into one road. And the toad they met at
went straight down! i am not kidding, if we would have had a tube, i
could have road that thing....down the street. But sadly....i am a
missionary and cant have fun. hahahahaha not true. i have so much fun
out here.
There is a zone leader living with us, his name is Elder Thurgood. He
went to Pleasant Grove high school and knew elder reynolds. they are
super alike too. But every morning, for the last week now, he has been
killing me EVERY morning. He is a really athletic kid and played tons
of sports in high school. But ya, every morning we go out and run. Not
just like go jog a mile, we really run. We go do like 10 warm up laps,
8 sprints, and 2 ladders. and the ladders and killer cuz its about 50
yards long with a line every like 7 feet. it is killer. Than we go
inside and do an ab ripper thing of death every other day. so ya,
super hard. and we ve been getting up at 6 every day. Sunday was nice
tho, no running plus an hour of extra sleep for the day light savings.
I am curious, did you guys have that or something? ya i dont know when
you guys jump. hahaha i fell back and you guys go forward. Conference
is gonna be fun. They are like huge parties for missionaries. And
also, to watch them in english, it has to be live. So we watch
priesthood session at like 9 at night to 11. hahaha i am excited.
But ya, that is all that is really happening right now. Pretty fun.
