Dear Family,
what is up?? so i hear the wedding was good. i liked my little cutout,
it looked good. So i hear the week was pretty crazy for you guys. here
it was good. lots going on in fraile muerto.
we are on the last week of the change. we found a pretty legit lady
named Elaine (e-lie-nay). it is a weird name. but she is quite golden.
she is the one who went to the singing activity and loved our song.
she mentions it often. She went to church yesterday and participated a
bunch and loved it. she has a date to be baptized the 11th of august.
Lets see, uruguay and great britain will be playing soon and everyone
knows my comp is english. i hope úruguay wins. Futbol is life down
here so if they lose, the people will be upset.
We did a great activity with some stake guys and did some divisions to
go visit some less actives. From our efforts, one went so that is
quite awesome. he is from a different church and always says, ¨well i
was a mormon, now i m not¨ so we thought it would be a good idea to
have him pray once so he didnt feel like he wasnt a member. oh boy. i
knew it was gonna be bad the second he raised his arms in the air. it
might be the most awkward 45 seconds of my life...and he talked super
loud. i am sure he said Father and Lord more times that all the other
words combined. It was just interesting.
We are slowly softening up the president here to get him to get over
his shyness. his wife had a talk and talked about eternal families.
She started balling and he got a bit teary eyed. Also, we had Dany, a
good member who is SINGLE, give a talk. We were not sure why but he
chose his talk on how to infront the problems within a
marriage.....um.....it actually was good and it was more about FHE and
prayer.
So all in all, a great successfull little week up here in Fraile
Little Muerto. Dad has already informed me of the day count left,
which is now under 100. Wow.
