You get this letter addressed to you cuz i totally forgot about your birthday. So…HAPPY BIRTHDAY! But in your letter will include stuff for everyone…so its not actually yours at all. Also, let me include Jerry and G ma Powell (smiley face). I looked on that fancy laminated birthday sheet and noticed that i had missed all three. Missionary work does that. But dont feel too bad, i also missed the college football champion game. Someone mentioned that the other day and i was like oh ya, that did happen.
Mom, you will be impressed with this. Saturday night, i bought an Apple, a cucumber, and TWO peachs. Plus for breakfast sometimes i eat an egg with onions and green peppers. I am like a healthy eating full now a days. But anyways, i wanted to ask everyone for some type of récipe ideas. Nothing fancy. Just something that is quick, can be boiled or fried (or microwaved i guess too), and the ingredients involve fruits, veggies, noodles, tomato sauce, eggs, salt, or sugar.
So this week was AWESOME for mail. I hadnt received a letter yet, and that has sucked. But i have had my e mails. Than last week, since we were at tres cruces, there was no printer so i didnt get any e mails. But this week i got double! Than last tuesday for district meeting, i got about 5 or 6 letters. Way nice. and than for our entrevistas with the president, he brought the box and guess how many i got. I got 6 of those other e mail site ones (which works great and everyone should probably just use that, it only takes like 3 to 5 days to get to me) and than i got 12 YES 12 ENVELOPES OF LETTERS! IT WAS LIKE CHRISTMAS ALL OVER AGAIN! Most of them had been addressed to the MTC and forwarded here. Needless to say, i have a lot of stuff to read this week. And even more people to write.
Quick explanation for the pictures. They are of us traveling thru out the country side out by the hipodromo. There cow is just awesome, the one of me standing on the hill is basically epic, and the one of me and my comp..well lets just say i am opening my eyes as wide as they will possibly go. Also, the two views are from the front and back of my apartment. The clouds look way cool. The one out the back has the mountains (which are apparently the biggest ones in uruguay)
Other than that, there aint much more going on. i wrote a letter last week with cool stuff and i will again this week. We are setting tons of fechas and stuff but struggling getting people to the church. I am talking tons in contacts and teaching bunches in lessons. It way fun. I will send one more e mail with some more pics. Love you
